We know how busy life can be. Our approach with families is not to compete for their time, energy, or resources, but rather to partner with families. We believe what happens at home is more important than what happens in church. Though we also believe that family & church are both better to together than separate. Everything we do for families is with this in mind. Our goal from birth through graduation is to provide resources, teaching, relationships, and opportunities to help parents have spiritual conversations with their children at home.
From six weeks to preschool and kindergarten to 5th grade, your child will enjoy our safe and engaging environments designed for their age group.
Our kids programs runs during the 10:30am Sunday service. Nursery and preschool care is available in Building C Room 1 across the lawn from the Auditorium for children six weeks through preschool. Kindergarten through 5th grade meet in Building D, directly behind our Auditorium.
During these programs, we strive to help children understand that they can trust God no matter what because He loves them no matter what. This time is an active, hands-on approach with activities, teaching, and play that are age-specific.
Each Sunday parents receive a parent discussion guide describing what their child learned and some ways to interact with the content with their child.
For your first visit we just ask you to complete an information card to check-in. Following your first visit, you can use our electronic check-in system located in each classroom (PreK in Bld C1; K-5 in Bld D). Also, all of our children's volunteers have been screened and fingerprinted. It is important to us that, in addition to learning basic truths from the Bible, all children should feel safe and welcome at New Life Church.
Our middle and high school students meet on Sundays 9:15-10:15am in our Student Room of Building D, behind our auditorium. This environment is a place for students to engage, have fun, and process student life together with adults who care about them.
We place the safety of our kids as a top priority. Responsible volunteers are welcome to help with our Kids, Students, and other ministries. We require all volunteers to be fingerprinted, screened, and to participate in Ministry Safe training. Please contact Pastor Chris Hoch or Sharon Rauenzahn if you would like to get involved.
